Yo Gabba Gabba Birthday Party

Today I am so excited to share this super fun Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party!

From the second I saw her name on the caller id I knew she had to be calling about her son’s upcoming birthday and I couldn’t be more excited to answer my phone.  Gosh do I love a good themed party and I get excited every year for this adorable child’s birthday because if there is one thing I know for sure  – his Mom always throws AMAZING, super fun, creative themed parties!!  This year was no exception, a Yo Gabba Gabba Birthday Party!  For those of you who don’t know Yo Gabba Gabba is a  funky fresh kid’s show that has awesome songs served up by DJ Lance.  I can see my future kids being very into Yo Gabba Gabba because its definatley fun dance music that allow Mom to keep jamming 😉  Along with DJ Lance’s friends, Muno, Foofa, Toodee, Brobee, and Plex, Yo Gabba Gabba has a great cast of really fun characters.

This Yo Gabba Gabba Birthday Party was full of details from personalized t-shirts for each guest to over sized boom boxes to super fun Pin the eye on Muno game all the kids and adults had a blast.  Mom had a full day of activities for the kids including coloring, face painting, bounce house, craft projects and finished up with delicious cupcakes, YO!  I was actually singing the songs for days to come and even put on a little Yo Gabba Gabba for my editing!

What I love most about covering birthday parties is the portrait session that we always build in, its so much fun to capture these special portraits for the family.  After all of their hard work on the party its nice to ensure Mom gets a nice family portrait to remember the day.  We set up this backdrop and I brought in some of my portrait furniture for this fun Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party photo booth.
