HOWDY PAHT-NAS!!
Ya’ll ready for a rootin’ tootin’ good time? Gotta hankerin’ for some good ole country fun? Well, ya’ll in luck! Today’s post is loooooong overdue but full of cute country gals fixin’ to have a great time down at Herman’s Hoedown!!
Okay, that’s all the country slang I’ve got in me so don’t expect much more! 😉
So where did “Herman’s Hoedown” come from? Well, for Melissa’s bachelorette party we knew we wanted something outdoorsy, laid back and full of activities. She’s just that kinda girl! We quickly decided a Cowgirl Bachelorette Party would be perfect for her. So we found Malibu Dude Ranch, that offered everything you could possibly want in a country weekend getaway. 3 meals a day, swimming pool, canoeing, archery, rifle range, unlimited horseback riding and of course a honky-tonk bar, that we turned upside down one night.
When we throw a party the invitations are where we start. They set the stage for the event and we pride ourselves in our invite awesomeness. Here are the country themed invitations we made for the cowgirl bachelorette.
The bride-to-be is aways the gal we aim to please! We always want her to feel special and stand out so accessorize her to fit the party theme. For a bachelorette party held on a ranch, Melissa needed cowboy boots and of course, a veil. She, along with every girl who attended also received a Herman’s Hoedown t-shirt, a cowgirl hat and bandana. We all looked the part!!
Tiffany, Tini and I made this “Copson” (Melissa’s new last name) rope word to hang at the ranch. I wish we had a few more pictures of it because it was pretty fantastic. OH -> and check out that cowboy! HOWDY HANDSOME!
This is where we stayed. It was pretty awesome. Accommodated all 15 of us….
By the end of the weekend we had all perfected the proper hat tip…
HORSEBACK RIDING!!! Nothing beats a nice ride through the woods. Besides Honky-Tonkin’ this was one of my favorite parts. I wish I remembered my horse’s name. We became instant Best Friends!
We spent a lot of time out on the lake. I’m actually surprised no one ended up IN the lake!
Hinkle was our very own Annie Oakley! She ruled the rifle range! *WARNING* that girl can shoot!!
We had such a great time down on the ranch. It was so much fun being western for a weekend! This about sums it up…
The Cowgirl Bachelorette was a weekend we will all remember! No one left disappointed. The most important part… Melissa had a blast!!
Herman… err… Copson…. We had such a great time at your western themed bachelorette party and couldn’t imagine spending it any other way. You deserved this weekend getaway and I’m so glad we were able to give it to you! We love ya gal!
Yee Haw… see ya’ll tomarrah,
Heather
