Lately I have been really into Oprah’s life class. The topics she covers on the show speak directly to my heart. This past week she talked about forgiveness and what that really means. I have always tried to be forgiving and for the most part do pretty well with it. However, like many people there are things in my past that I have not gotten over and should because that angry really does hold me back. The heart of the matter is truly forgiveness.
When Oprah said the quote below it really got me thinking and looking at forgiveness a whole different way. When you don’t let go and accept the past, accept mistakes that were made, accept that people make mistakes you are always holding on to the hope that something in the past will change and it can’t. Carrying that hope is extra weight that can be shed.
Pretty deep for a Thursday…..Have a great day…..forgive someone 😉

Hi, I’m Tiff!
I’m the photographer behind Appletini Photography, a portrait studio based in Yardley, PA, serving families and businesses across Bucks County. For more than a decade, I’ve had the joy of capturing heartfelt images — from newborn photography and family portraits to professional headshots and branding photography. My goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel authentic, joyful, and worth holding onto for generations.
Over the years I’ve photographed thousands of moments for families throughout Yardley, Morrisville, and the surrounding Bucks County community, helping parents preserve the fleeting stages of childhood and the connections that make their family unique. I believe a photograph never grows up — and that the images we create today become tomorrow’s heirlooms.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m wearing one of my many hats: wife, mom, cat mom, aunt, best friend, and enthusiastic coffee drinker. I’m usually planning a themed party, crafting something creative, traveling somewhere new, getting lost in a good book, or laughing until my cheeks hurt.
Through this blog, I love sharing photography tips, local Bucks County family resources, behind-the-scenes stories from sessions, and inspiration for families preparing for portraits. I’m so glad you’re here.
Very good advice!
I have been hooked on this show!! That quote really resonated the other night for me as well! Thanks Oprah, glad your back!
