There’s something truly magical about kicking off the holiday season with my Holiday Truck Mini Sessions. The mood is joyful, everyone’s smiles are broad, and yes, I bring snacks to keep the good vibes flowing. It’s one of my favorite ways to connect with families and capture the warm spirit of the season in a cozy, festive setting.

This past November, families gathered along the scenic canal in Yardley, PA, to enjoy the charming backdrop of our beloved holiday truck, decked out for all things merry and bright. For many, this session isn’t just a photo shoot—it’s a joyful tradition that brings holiday cheer and creates lasting memories year after year.

Holiday Truck Mini Sessions: A Festive Favorite

The Holiday Truck Sessions hold a special place in my heart—and clearly in the hearts of my clients too, as these sessions have sold out two years running! The setting is rustic and warm, nestled by the picturesque canal where fall’s vibrant colors give way to winter’s cozy charm.

Christmas Sessions in the Studio: Magic Indoors

In 2024, we had three dazzling sets that added a unique twist to each session:

• Santa’s Workshop: Step right into a scene that whisks you away to the North Pole! Kids dropped off candy and toys at Santa’s Workshop, mailed letters to Santa, pulled wagons, and posed for heartfelt family portraits that captured the joy and wonder of the season.

• Christmas in a Box (New for 2024!): This playful set featured a charming 4x4x2 box filled with cozy vignettes—milk and cookies, reading “The Night Before Christmas,” and presents waiting to be unwrapped. Families loved choosing this unique set, which included a sweet collection of nine square 5×5 images, plus a 12×12 composite, perfect for a one-of-a-kind holiday card or gift.

Families could select one, two, or all three sets during their 30-minute sessions, with plenty of time to capture candid laughter and cozy moments. Starting with themed portraits on the holiday truck set, many chose to switch to the classic red backdrop for a more traditional look and even opted for a wardrobe change to embrace the whimsy of Christmas in a Box.

Holiday Truck Mini Sessions will be held on November 15th and 16th at a private, scenic spot along the canal in Yardley, PA.
In-Studio Christmas Portraits will be available December 6th, 7th, and 13th at my Morrisville, PA studio featuring:

• The Hot Cocoa Bar: This adorable outdoor-inspired set made everyone feel like they were sipping cocoa on a snowy North Pole street. Marshmallows stole the show (yes, I definitely went marshmallow overboard this year!), delighting kids and grown-ups alike.

• Christmas in a Box (Inspired by Holiday Classics): Families stepped into the magic of their favorite Christmas movies—Elf, A Christmas Story, and Home Alone—choosing simple attire and iconic props. And yes, the famous pink bunny suit made a memorable appearance!

• Classic White Backdrop: For timeless portraits that shine year-round, this clean and elegant set featured white walls, floors, curtains, and seating—perfect to make your wardrobe pop and create stunning family portraits.

Families could select one, two, or all three sets during their 30-minute sessions, capturing joyful smiles, cozy moments, and holiday magic. Many started outdoors with the Hot Cocoa Bar, transitioned to the Classic White backdrop for a sleek look, and embraced the whimsy of Christmas in a Box with optional wardrobe changes.

Both session types are designed to be easy to book, fun to capture, and quick to deliver—no stress, just real moments and genuine smiles.
