A look back at last year’s magic and a gentle nudge to book early for 2025!
Oh, that crisp chill in the air, the allure of specialty lattes, fresh boots ready to take on the world, the symphony of rustling leaves, and cozy backyard fires with family—fall, how I adore you! Every year, I fall a little harder for autumn in Bucks County, and 2024 was no exception.
As I prep for the upcoming 2025 season (can you believe it?!), I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the joy, laughter, and sheer beauty we captured together last fall. From September through early November, I explored three of Bucks County’s most stunning locations with dozens of sweet families, and the results still make my heart skip a beat.
Let’s take a stroll down memory lane…
Tyler State Park – Rustic, Dreamy, and Full of Charm
Tyler State Park is one of my go-to fall locations for good reason. With its iconic covered bridge, rustic trails, and an endless canopy of trees that light up in October, it’s a dream. The sunsets in 2024 were next-level, casting a golden glow on families playing, cuddling, and just soaking in the season.
There’s something timeless about Tyler—it’s beautiful in every direction, and the variety of backdrops makes every session feel unique. Whether you were walking hand-in-hand through the tall grass or sharing a giggle under the bridge, the love came through loud and clear.
Core Creek Park – Sunsets + Subtle Magic
Core Creek was a showstopper last fall. This spot often flies under the radar, but when the sun starts to dip and the leaves begin to drop, there’s a stretch of trees in the back that transforms into something out of a fairytale. That golden light reflecting off the lake? Absolute magic.
I especially loved bringing families here in October, when the colors were at their peak and the woods framed each image like a painting. The sessions felt relaxed, connected, and full of little in-between moments I live to capture.
Yardley Canal – Classic, Colorful, and Full of Heart
There’s something truly special about photographing families at the Yardley Canal. It’s not just about the leaves (which always show off)—it’s about the pride people feel for their hometown. This spot has history, charm, and a vibrant community spirit that shines in every frame.
The canal’s reflective water, stone walls, and rich fall color made every session feel like a love letter to Yardley. Whether you’re a local or adore a classic Bucks County backdrop, this location always delivers.
