Happy Friday ya’ll, hasn’t it been such a better week now that I am back to blog posting! 😉
Have I mentioned that we have 30 PEOPLE GOING TO IRELAND….HOLLA!  David and I are so pumped and have been planning away. With so many people we thought it would be good to pre-game  together before the trip. In leiu of the rehearsal dinner we are throwing a thank you dinner. I had a million and two ideas for this invitation but when I thought of the concept of a paper airplane invitation I was locked in and obsessed. I found a few templates online but nothing I was in love with so I made my own. These are the most cost efficient and coolest invites I have ever sent…LOVE…LOVE…LOVE the results.
Check…Check….Check them out.
I think these paper airplane invitations could be perfect for any destination wedding save the date or invitation.
Check out my Passport Wedding Inviations – these were the invitations that we created to invite our guest to the trip.
FUNNY SIDE STORY
So I do a fair amount of printing at my local Staples, I love the quality.  When we went in to make the airplanes  I asked the guy;  Can you just print one copy so I can test it out? So he did and I folded it oh so carefully at the counter. When he came back to see if it worked he was really impressed with the invitation. What guy doesn’t like a paper airplane invite? Then he proceeded to say “Yeah, some brides can get crazy..they are always bringing in these craziest projects.” Oh, I can imagine, I said. He said, “Yeah, this one time this girl had me print these long strips for these invitations that she was rolling up into film canister. I couldn’t believe these long strips that she was cutting down to make like film”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…BELIEVE IT…IT WAS ME
He was totally talking about me. After I let out a loud cackle and told him that was me he proceeded to blush and back pedal. IT WAS HILARIOUS, seriously one of the funniest things that has ever happened. It’s like having yourself quoted back to yourself….bahahahaha
These are AWESOME!!!!! So simple, yet sooo fun.
The invitations are so awesome and were really fun to make!
I do LOVE that he quoted you back to yourself!! You are the crazy crafty invite lady at Staples now and forever!! LOVE IT Well Done, and your right what Guy does’nt like an airplane….Tom had fun 😉
