Oh yes I am still recovering from the best St. Patrick’s Day wedding bash ever! What a great time, our home is definitely set up to handle a serious party, even in sleet! I wish the weather could have been in the 70’s but the snow was no match for this bash. We made the best of it and thanks to my family owning several tarps, we tented as many areas as we could…lol. We had a heated tent, plenty of alcohol, more desserts than the eye could see, a photo booth, a jamming dance floor surrounded by the world’s best people. It was more than Dave and I could ever dream. It was truly an amazing show of all of the love that David and I have in our life. We are abundant! Before we went to Ireland for our wedding we threw the bash before the bash, a thank you dinner for all of our guest. It was our first party in our new home and I enjoyed planning and throwing it. Since we did not have a rehearsal dinner in Ireland nor could we possibly carry all these gifts over there we wanted to throw a special night to get the party started! announcement…announcement….announcement… I am now a married women! My wedding was everything I could have dreamed of and more, I truly loved every moment of it. Being the bride is so much fun!! Seriously! Dave, Me and 29 of the bestest friends and family we could every ask for celebrating in Ireland, who could ask for more? Each day of the trip was more fun than the last and just when we thought we couldn’t have any more fun something else would happen. Ireland is a great country full of welcoming people, good spirits, rich in culture and one heck of a party. Our wedding day was just perfect, I watched the sun rise over Galway bay, had breakfast with my ladies and then had a kick ass getting ready party in my suite. Personal Post! So proud to document this moment in my life Recently we had our engagement photos taken and we could not feel more blessed to have such a great set of portraits of ourselves. Check out our Brooklyn Bridge Portraits from Judie Ann Photography. She was amazing to work with. David and I met online in December of 2007 and pretty much fell in love instantly. We make a great team and when we set our minds to something – watch out. On New Year’s Eve 2009 we set our minds to weight loss. We had both been over weight our whole lives and for the first time in my life I had met someone who knew exactly how I felt and gave me the motivation to get it done – finally. Happy Friday ya’ll, hasn’t it been such a better week now that I am back to blog posting! Have I mentioned that we have 30 PEOPLE GOING TO IRELAND….HOLLA! David and I are so pumped and have been planning away. With so many people we thought it would be good to pre-game together before the trip. In leiu of the rehearsal dinner we are throwing a thank you dinner. I had a million and two ideas for this invitation but when I thought of the concept of a paper airplane invitation I was locked in and obsessed. I found a few templates online but nothing I was in love with so I made my own. These are the most cost efficient and coolest invites I have ever sent…LOVE…LOVE…LOVE the results. Not too long till my Ireland Wedding…count down is on ya’ll. Let wedding project season officially begin! I have no shortage if amazballs women in my life. I am truly blessed with 10 #haytag #cray and #amay sisters & girlfriends a girl could ever ask for. As a bridesmaid for Heather, Tini & Melissa wedding I got a notepad for planning and knew I had to carry on the tradition. I made my own notepad and gave each girl an Irish coffee set which I also thought was a planning essential. Like I often say…sometimes life gets so busy Recently I’ve had some problems with uploading images to my blog so I took it as a sign to take a break. I love Trader Joe’s for a million reasons and one of them is their selection of seasonal flowers. No matter the season they always have awesome arrangements.
