Hey there SuperMom’s!!
If you follow me over on Facebook you know if it SUPERMom week. Well what does that mean? Last week I introduced Tina, the new Chief of Sales around here. Someone later asked me if Tina is full time and my answer was well….she’s a full time SUPERMom. And she really is, she has 2 beautiful boys, an amazing husband and a adorable puppy that all rely on her and that got me thinking. I know a lot of SUPERMom’s. I am not a Mom yet but this business is like birthing a big ole baby, complete with the metaphoric diaper changes and 3am feedings. If you have ever started a business – you know what I mean. Just like the play room is never cleaned, the to-do list is never complete.
I sometimes am so busy being a Bucks County portrait photographer that I wonder how the heck we are going to add kids into our mix of busy business schedules and cat pampering. I know it can be done because of all of the SuperMom’s I have in my life as sisters, best friends and clients that are already doing it and I am reminded that it can be done. I don’t know how but I am excited to learn! I am determined to fill our kid room in 2015. So although this week was suppose to be wedding week and although I am sure there will be another Mom week in May I wanted to celebrate Mom’s this week!
CHEERS Momma! Here is all that you accomplish in day! 😉
In case you missed it, I posted this article to Facebook the other day and I think it is an important read for the women of today! This article has been circulating the web this week and it is such and important message and the best way to start SuperMom week! To my women friends:
“Can we draft a joint resolution to drop the crazy-making expectation that we must all be perfect friends and perfect mothers and perfect workers and perfect lovers with perfect bodies who dedicate ourselves to charity and grow our own organic vegetables, at the same time that we run corporations and stand on our heads while playing the guitar with our feet?” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/11/elizabeth-gilbert-on-failure_n_6608164.html
