My Sweet Angel

This is us, sharing a laugh. I love that laugh.

Although I am so sad and miss her already I am happy that she is now at peace.  Most people who follow my site already know I had a special bond with my Gram.  She was just one of those people who made you smile no matter what and I loved that about her.  She would always give a little wave, tell a little joke or just smile and bat her eyes.  Sweet is an understatement, she was just the best.  She has taught me so much and I am honored to live the rest of my life with all her bits of knowledge.  The way she lived her life, treated her family and all the fun she had was beautiful.  I hope to live a life as full as hers.  And I hope as I age I do it with as much grace as she.

Gram – I will never forget the things you have taught me, I will always hear that little laugh of your, I will never eat potato salad that is not your recipe, at Christmas I know how important it is that the family be together, I know that one little drink a day will help me relax, I’ll root for the Phillies even if they are in last place because “you never know”, I’ll wet, every time I hear a bell ring I will think its the fairies and search for a gift, I’ll never forget our little song and will sing it to my babies,  the chief will always rest in my home,  anytime someone mentions the post office I’ll let them know you worked there, I won’t eat lox and bagels but I will smile every time I hear someone order it, St Patrick’s will always be my favorite because of you, I’ll give Altoona a wave every time I head out that way,  I’ll always carry a pack of Saltines, I’ll always have one can of beer with my spaghetti, and I’ll always smile just like you did and I could go on forever but I already know that you know that I will keep your spirit alive in everything that I do.
