If I owe you an email, phone call, Facebook message, text message, instagram response…today is catch up day!! Please stand by… Hello Chaps! Did you miss me? Last week David and I spent a lovely week in England. David was there on business and I had the opportunity to tag along and take a “holiday”. We stayed in the lovely little town of Altrincham with cute little neighboring towns of Hale and Bowdon. We got to spend one quick blur of a day in London but it was enough to wave at the Queen, catch Big Ben it all its glory, see the outside of Westminster Abby and ride the London Eye!! Today is just a sneak peek but hopefully I will be able to edit these 1000+ images one day real soon! Thanks so much Heather for holding it down last week! I loved the Mickey Mouse Birthday Party

It is so bittersweet to leave a place you are so passionate about to persue your dreams that you are also passionate about. They had a wonderful lunch for me and an AMAZING cake and everyone said so many kind words and made me feel beyond loved. I held it together all day. I was not emotional until I pulled out of that parking lot. I already miss it a little, all of those tasks, all of those people depending on me all of those systems that I know. I was a little over come with emotions leaving what has been my life for the last 6 ½ years but also over joyed that I am making it happen. I will miss every person there but they are

After a little Pinterest surfing, how about a checker board cake and fountain soda cupcakes? check and check! They sure were delish! Found this checker board cake pan at Michael’s and I was a little nervous about it but it worked like a charm! The results were pretty awesome! My check board was not as straight as the picture on the box but I think with time I might be in high demand for checker boards! Up next…fountian soda cupcakes What a sock hop without root beer floats and my girl got me diet root beer? I was in heaven! Thanks again pal!

It was our first party in our new home and I enjoyed planning and throwing it. Since we did not have a rehearsal dinner in Ireland nor could we possibly carry all these gifts over there we wanted to throw a special night to get the party started! I was going for a travel theme with a clear destination of Ireland. You may remember the paper airplane invitation Good news and bad news about the photos….lol. The good news is the party started at 4 and I got done about 3:55, just in time to snap some great before shots of all my details. The bad news is I really didn’t take any photos while our guest were there….not even during gift opening. But I did get a few

So proud to document this moment in my life Recently we had our engagement photos taken and we could not feel more blessed to have such a great set of portraits of ourselves. Check out our Brooklyn Bridge Portraits from Judie Ann Photography. She was amazing to work with. David and I met online in December of 2007 and pretty much fell in love instantly. We make a great team and when we set our minds to something – watch out. On New Year’s Eve 2009 we set our minds to weight loss. We had both been over weight our whole lives and for the first time in my life I had met someone who knew exactly how I felt and gave me the motivation to get it done – finally. Without David by my side this would have never happened and I could never say thank you

And, just to set the record straight this was a traditional bridal shower…just for the ladies but we did (as you can see below) have 3 amazing men with us…the groom, Papa Herm and our Man of Honor. We had the groom bring our bride and stay to play The Newlywed Game…and eat. We gave Melissa and Tom each a Mad Hatter picture if the answer was Tom and a Queen of Hearts if the answer was Melissa. Heather then asked a bunch of funny question like “Who does the dishes?” and “Who does your cat {Sonnnn} love more?” It was a lot of fun. We also made game boards for the guest to play along and predict the answers, of course
