Good Morning Gorgeous! Let’s kick off this glorious week with a DIY project, shall we?  This is not only an adorable DIY idea but it’s fah-reeeeee!  Which makes it a favorite in my book!

I can’t walk by the paint sample wall in Home Depot without eyeing up all the lovely shades of swatches, secretly wishing I had something to paint so I had a reason to go and spend some time with them.  Okay, you think I’m a crazy don’t you?   A sample loving psycho?   I can’t help it.  The colors.  All the pretty colors!

When I actually was painting every room in my home I somehow became a color swatch hoard.  I had my secret stash of samples and I just couldn’t seem to get enough.  I swear they would jump into my purse if I came within 2 feet of them inside the store.  Once my home was painted, I kept my samples.  Every single one of ’em.  Not knowing exactly what I’d make with them, but knowing I couldn’t bear to throw them out.  I’m a hoarder crafter like that.  Infact, I have used my sweet color samples for several DIY projects.  This happens to be my favorite, but in the past I have also used paint samples for party décor. ( Click here to peep out my paint swatch party décor.)

Okay, let’s get to today’s little DIY…. Paint Swatch Boxes!  You’re ready, right??

Now the fun part… what to do with your paint sample box.  I made mine into little gift boxes. (Click here to see what DIY gift I made to put in them)

I even used the leftover swatch pieces for gift tags…
