This past weekend we threw a crab boil bridal shower for our dear friends Rob & Keely who are getting married in November. We had a co-ed bridal shower which was the first I had ever been too and it was blast. My big fat Ireland wedding kind of got in the way of Keely’s official bridal shower so we wanted to do something to celebrate. Keely is from Connecticut and has such fabulous New England style. Seriously no one can wear navy, salmon and pearls like her, I love her style so we thought a crab boil would be most appropriate.
We held the shower at Craig & Tom’s amazing home and it was the perfect backdrop for our gathering. Craig was truly the hostess with the mostess and everything was just perfect. I think my favorite part of the day and I’m sure Craig would agree was setting this AWESOME table. We both have a special place in our hearts for a beautifully dressed table.
Great friends, amazing food and plenty of laughter!
I could not stop shooting this table so here comes lots of pictures….
gift area!
ok back to the tent…
Craig and Tom are drying out their hydrangea’s and they made the perfect accent to the tent.
Then these amazing florals by Melissa Copson came into the picture and this table just popped!
serious flower skills…love these!
Wouldn’t be a crab boil without the crab and old bay!
I think she was surprized 😉
ok, back to the table. told you I was obsessed!
Our handsome hostess…
If we are pals on facebook you may have seen this sneak peek last night, well here is where it’s from 😉 We’re not pals? Let’s fix that ————>www.facebook.com/appletiniphotography
even the cats had a good time 😉
Rob and I lived together in Orlando for a while and if there is one thing I learned is that he loves to grill so I got them a grill gift….steak included…lol. David and I gave them some steaks, a serving dish and some spices and seasoning sauce. No meat was harmed in the making of this gift, I wrapped the steaks and kept them in the fridge to right before gift opening. It was a crowd pleaser 😉
Keely & Rob’s wedding has a speakeasy wedding theme…ahhh….I am so excited! Got my dress, red heels and hair fascinater all planned out!
