WHEW! What. A. Weekend!!! Were you as busy as I was?? This past Saturday was Hadley’s Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Party. Ever since the Mickey Mouse Invitations went out, I’ve been one busy Mama! But FINALLY after weeks and weeks of planing it was time to celebrate … Mickey style! This Mickey Mouse garland was one of the easiest of the party details but it really made a statement. Such a simple food table backdrop! I just adored how it came out! You can’t have a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday Party without adorable character themed food! On our Mickey Menu we had items like Hot Diggity Dogs, Chips and Dale, Donald’s Cheese & Quackers, and Toodles’ Noodles. The guests got a kick out of the quirky clubhouse menu. It has become tradition that Aunt Tiff photographs Hadley every birthday. She and I collaborate a styled photo shoot that matches the theme of that year’s birthday party. This year was Picnic in the Park with Mickey

We had a co-ed bridal shower which was the first I had ever been too and it was blast. My big fat Ireland wedding kind of got in the way of Keely’s official bridal shower so we wanted to do something to celebrate. Keely is from Connecticut and has such fabulous New England style. Seriously no one can wear navy, salmon and pearls like her, I love her style so we thought a crab boil would be most appropriate. We held the shower at Craig & Tom’s amazing home and it was the perfect backdrop for our gathering. Craig was truly the hostess with the mostess and everything was just perfect. I think my favorite part of the day and I’m sure Craig would agree was setting

You know us gals couldn’t send her down the aisle without a proper bridal shower. Non-traditional showers are more our style and we love to throw parties the people will never forget. I think Liss’s shower exceeded my expectations. Heather and I have known well before Melissa was engaged that we were going to throw her a Alice in Wonderland themed bridal shower except we put our own spin on it and with the help of the rest of the bridal party created Lissa in Loverland. A very un-bridal bridal shower. We had the party at Melissa’s parents house, they have the absolute perfect back yard and really let us come in and run with our vision. Love them to pieces Everyone worked really hard to pull this

Seriously one of the best Dad’s a kid could ask for. 60 is pretty old (haha) so we had to celebrate right! Since my Dad’s birthday shares the same weekend with Halloween my Mom, Sisters and I were going for a glam spooktacular event…I think we exceeded the mark. Once again I enlisted Pinterest to help me get the party started. Check out my Bad to the Bone Birthday Board. …and if you missed it, 60th Birthday Invitation over here On with the party… The Details…. We had a cocktail and appetizer party. Honestly I was trying to take part in Sherry from Young House Love’s Pinterest challenge but I couldn’t get the images edited fast enough. I’m sure there will

Below is a 5×7 press printed invitation that I designed for my dear old Dad. These were cut-out cards so the gray area is trimmed away giving it that cool shape. The Bad to the Bone theme sent my Mom, sisters and I’s creativity into overload, I’ll be back later this week with all of the food I made, crafts we created and the celebration. **That awesome photo of my Pop was not taken by Appletini Photography. We had family portratis done a while back and that photo is from that session It is one of my all time favorite “Pop shots”.
