Hap…Hap…HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!
Guess who’s expecting? You guessed it, lil’ Miss Tini! Christine (one of my best gal pals who I have always called Tini) and her wonderful husband Steve are expecting their first child and I could not be more excited for them. {{Flashback to Tini and Steve’s wedding}}
When Tini wanted to do a gender reveal shoot I was thrilled to assist. She loved the idea of balloons in a box. Both are avid fishers (you know, fisherman, fisherwoman) so we went down to a favorite fishing spot for their gender reveal. They learned the gender on Thursday and had to keep it a secret all the way till Sunday but in the end it was totally worth it! I love how much these two are just glowing in these images, this is such an amazing time in their life. My girl was seriously rocking her Mom-glow and I enjoyed every moment of capturing it. {{Love you friend}} And, the sky…YES…I ordered it for this shoot, it was delivered in perfect condition!!! I love shooting outside against that crisp blue sky!
I think a gender reveal session is a modern, clever and fun way to reveal the sex of your child. Especially in this social media world, friends and family love learning the news this way. It was fun to get creative and build a story with my images. Tini has signed on to the first year portrait plan and used her gender reveal shoot as her FREE maternity session and it worked out perfectly! I have since booked another session and can’t wait to share the concept, so excited.
