Baby’s First Year |Monthly Baby Photos

THIS. FACE.

This adorable little face!AppletiniPhotography1_0604

This adorable little face just celebrated his first birthday this past weekend.  (Wait till you see the party!  Sooo cute!!) This sweet boy was on our Baby’s First Year Plan and if you missed his First Year Slideshow and Cake Smash images last week you should really check them out.

I can’t believe this little doll is one already!  Where does the time go??  I feel like we were just snuggling him in the hospital and taking his newborn portraits{click here to see his uber cute newborn photo shoot}

Well, apparently he went and grew up on us.  I suppose it HAD to happen, but did he have to do it so quickly??  Is it just me or does that first year of life always seem to just fly by?  As hard as you try, you just can’t slow it down.  Before you know it they are going and turning one on you.

You may NOT be able to slow the aging process down, but you CAN document it in photographs.  Have you heard of monthly baby photos?  Maybe you are taking them yourself?  Month by Month baby photos are exactly what they sound like.  A baby picture taken every month.

Usually the images are taken in the same spot or with a stuffed animal.  Something that helps you see how much the baby is growing each month. Sometimes a sign or number is added to show how many months old the baby is in the picture.  One of my favorite ways to incorporate a number in the monthly photos are stickers.  INFACT…. Tiffany often gifts stickers to her families who book newborn photo shoots.

Where do you think this sweetie got his adorable little ties from??  His favorite photographer, of course 🙂 !!!!

Sorry for the poor picture quality.  I wanted to zoom in to give you a closer look at the monthly photo sticker and this is the best I could do.

This little guys Momma must be working on her MOMography.  Look at these adorable montly baby pictures.

KUDOS MOMMA!  GREAT JOB!!

I love her creativity.  Such a wonderful idea keeping him in the same chair and how awesome are those balloons?  Adding a balloon each month… GENIUS!

Seriously, don’t you just love it??

Isn’t it crazy how fast they grow?  That first year is pretty amazing.  They go from peanut to big kid in a matter of months.  Just look at the transformation….

Wild, right?

This little boy will never be a newborn again.  No matter how hard Momma tries!  But Mom WILL always have these amazing images.  They document his first year.   They preserve her sweet child in a way nothing else can.  I know she will cherish these photographs for a lifetime.

So what do you think Mommas (or future Mommas)?  Do you like this Monthly Baby Photo trend?  Have you done it?  Will you do it?

I didn’t do it for my first and I regret it.  Sure, I have lots of photos I had taken in her first year but nothing like this.  I AM however doing it with Bug.  I am using the stickers Tiffany gave me when I signed up for the Baby’s First Year Package and can’t wait to show you my pictures.  They are completely different than today’s monthly photographs but just as awesome!  That’s the fun of it.  The possibilities are endless.

xx,

Heather
