There’s something about summer that tricks us into thinking it will last forever. Maybe it’s the longer days. The late sunsets. The way the kids run barefoot through the grass while we tell ourselves we’ll always remember this version of them. But then suddenly, the beach towels are packed away, backpacks are back by the door, and we’re left wondering how an entire season disappeared so fast.
