It was a chilly day in February when I met this adorable couple expecting their first child. And although their adorable baby boy has already arrived I had to feature their maternity session! I am so far behind on blogging sessions it’s silly to think that I will ever catch up so now I am just randomly picking sessions that I love. So if I have skipped over your session I do apologize but don’t count it out yet.

I knew I liked this couple from the day I first spoke with them on the phone, we have some mutual friends and were just a right fit. Since it was a cold day in February we headed to Philadelphia where we could have an indoor/outdoor maternity session. I love capturing maternity session in Philadelphia’s 30th Street Session, it plays nicely with “waiting on our latest arrival”. It is also in a central location where we can get warm inside and brave the outside temperature to get those beautiful Philadelphia skylines. Philadelphia has so many different backdrops that it offers such nice variety for a maternity session. These guys pretty must trusted me to just do my thing, which I love and when this beautiful Mom showed up in red I knew this was going to be an amazing maternity session.

We first started at Love Park which I loved because having a child is such a burst of love. So many people skip the maternity session but I think it is so critical, you are carrying a precious life and a great reason to celebrate. Not to mention if this is your first child your life will never be the same and I love giving couples these images to remember who they were before they had a little life depending on them day in and day out. Pregnancy is so special!

Congratulations!!
