My sweet Little Monster is going to be FOUR this weekend!!!!  I just can’t believe it.  It seems like last week we were headed to the hospital to welcome our first beautiful baby girl.

In the past four years she has developed into an amazing young lady.  A little person I couldn’t be any prouder of.

She is kind and friendly.  The first one to greet any child arriving at the playground.  The sweet little voice you hear saying “hello” as we pass you in the Mall.

She is smart.  Surprises me everyday with her knowledge and has a vocabulary a third grader could brag about.  Not many almost-four-year-olds use words like ‘brilliant’, ‘compromise’, ‘responsibility’ and ‘frightened’.

She is hilarious (a word she would use) and witty.  When the baby babbles Monster translates – “She is obviously saying I should get dessert”!

I could go on and on about how special she is and how blessed I am to be her Momma and I probably would if I didn’t have a thousand and seventeen things to do to prep for her special day this weekend and then her party next weekend.  Which I can’t wait to share with you!  This year’s birthday party theme is an All Star Sports Party.  I may be more excited than the birthday girl! 😉

Before I go I’d like to share some photographs that Tiffany has taken of Miss Monster.  These images are so special.  I will cherish these photographs forever.  Although my sweet girl can’t stay little forever I will always have these photos to help me remember when she was.  They mean the world to me.  Thank you Appletini Photography for these memories.

Each year “Aunt Tiff” has a photo shoot with the birthday girl (a tradition I will absolutely be keeping with Baby Bug).  We use the images for party décor and then keep them safely stored away in our family photo box.  Pulling them out to reminisce is one of my favorite things to do. The memories are priceless and I’d be sad without them!!

It’s like watching her grow before our very eyes.

Just look… it’s pretty amazing watching the transformation!!…..

Here are a few images of Monster’s first ever photo shoot.  They were used on her birth announcement.  My favorite picture from this shoot was the first in “her frame”.  Yes!  Each of my girls have their own picture frame that we update on the regular.  Click here to read more about that.

For her second birthday we had a Color Splash Birthday Bash.  Aunt Tiff set up a colorful photo shoot complete with balloons and bubbles.  I’d include a link to that shoot but oddly enough, it hasn’t been posted here on the blog.  HMMM… maybe a Throwback Thursday?  We’ll see!  They were super cute!

Last year’s birthday theme was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.   In honor of it we took her to the park and Aunt Tiff set up a Picnic in the Park photo shoot with Monster’s faves, Mickey and Minnie.  To see all the adorable images click here.

And last but not least, birthday #4.  We had a shoot fit for our Sporty Sweetheart…

Like I said earlier, we use the images from the photo shoots for party décor.  Don’t worry I promise to share all of them after the party!  So stay tuned!!

Before I go just one more quick…” I LOVE YOU BIRTHDAY GIRL!  Hope your day is as sweet as you are, darling!”

I’m one proud Momma!

xx,

Heather
