They were nervous and slightly anxious during their maternity session, all of those feelings of the unknown. Feelings that all new parents can relate to and then this precious little boy arrived and their world was complete. It’s a little hard for me to believe but tomorrow we are getting ready to celebrate his first birthday. This little guy is so sweet, full of laughs and smiles. At first he was a little unsure but this I will never forget, his Dad said “Eassssster Bunny” and he gave a big smile. He was right, it was pretty funny.
I love first birthday portraits, I feel like it’s a celebration for the parents just as much as it is for the kid – you made it. All of that nursing, diaper changes and moments where parental instinct kicked in, you made it. I get to witness how much a kid changes people, how it makes their world even better, how although they lack sleep their hearts are full of love! It’s a beautiful think! First birthday portraits usually end with a good cake smashing this first birthday session was no exception.
Congratulations to this little guy and his parents on his first birthday!!

Hi, I’m Tiff!
I’m the photographer behind Appletini Photography, a portrait studio based in Yardley, PA, serving families and businesses across Bucks County. For more than a decade, I’ve had the joy of capturing heartfelt images — from newborn photography and family portraits to professional headshots and branding photography. My goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel authentic, joyful, and worth holding onto for generations.
Over the years I’ve photographed thousands of moments for families throughout Yardley, Morrisville, and the surrounding Bucks County community, helping parents preserve the fleeting stages of childhood and the connections that make their family unique. I believe a photograph never grows up — and that the images we create today become tomorrow’s heirlooms.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m wearing one of my many hats: wife, mom, cat mom, aunt, best friend, and enthusiastic coffee drinker. I’m usually planning a themed party, crafting something creative, traveling somewhere new, getting lost in a good book, or laughing until my cheeks hurt.
Through this blog, I love sharing photography tips, local Bucks County family resources, behind-the-scenes stories from sessions, and inspiration for families preparing for portraits. I’m so glad you’re here.
