Back in January we had a shower to welcome Baby Jack. Well….he listened because he came into the world pretty early just 9 days later. He is healthy and beautiful and I can’t wait to photograph him!
Heather and I took scrap book paper, streamer and a little ribbon to the next level with this shower. Party planning and decorating is pretty high on my list of things that I love and one day I hope to open up shop doing it. I love to see what you can create on a budget and how far you can take a theme. When Heather and I work together the things we come up are just incredible, we are definitely on the same creative wave length.
First project was this sign. The sign was purchased at the party store but the fun part was all the things we could make with the left over letters.
Sign for over the drinks. This is left over letters stuck to scrap book paper, hole punched and strung with ribbon, so simple.
Left over letters on scrap book paper and attached to wooden dowels.
And letters attached to ribbon to jazz up the gift table.
You can make SOOOOOO many things with scrap book paper, we used it for everything but my favorite was the pinwheels and airplanes. We made various sizes and patterns, it took a lot of folds but it was worth it.
LOVE THIS PROJECT! Heather had a great idea to make a sign for Jack. The frame is recycled and Heather picked up the fabric and spray paint at Wal-mart. Super easy to do and the results were fantastic!
Have you ever streamed a table? Streamers cost $0.99 and there is so much you can do. Streaming the table just adds some visual interest and a little pop of color.
This was a really fun game that Heather came up with. She printed out pictures of celebrities and you had to match the list with the photos. Can you find Oprah?
Here’s a final table shot. Great shower!
Love this post, for 100 different reasons!
Tiff, I enjoy every moment we get to “work” together. (like that amount of fun can be considered work)
Jack… I LOVE you and like to imagine I’m your favorite aunt. (Shhh, don’t tell Aunt Jacki) Can’t wait to squeeze you.
AND KERI… what can I say, you are an amazing woman, sister and now, MOMMY! We tried our damndest to give you the kick ass shower you deserved!!
