Fall Portraits in Bucks County (September & October)

Fall Family Portrait in Bucks County

There’s something about fall that makes everyone want to slow down just a little.

The air gets cooler, the leaves start to change, and suddenly everyone is pulling out their favorite sweaters and planning weekends together.

I love this season because families seem to exhale. Kids aren’t worried about sitting perfectly still—they’re collecting leaves, climbing logs, showing me how fast they can run, and somehow always finding the biggest stick in the park.

Those are the moments I remember long after the session is over.  The way your daughter couldn’t stop twirling in her new dress. The little guy who insisted on carrying a pumpkin the entire session. The family dog who stole the show. The hug you didn’t know I captured.

Before long, the leaves will be gone, the kids will have grown a little more, and another chapter will be behind us.

Let’s make sure this one is remembered.

Where We’ll Tell Your Story

One of my favorite parts of every fall is scouting Bucks County to see where the leaves are putting on their best show. These are three of my favorite locations, each with its own personality and charm.

Not sure which one is right for your family? Don’t worry about chasing peak color—I do that for you. I’m always happy to recommend the perfect location based on the season, your family, and the look you’re hoping for.

Core Creek Park

One of my most popular locations for a reason. Open fields, beautiful trees, winding paths, and plenty of room for kids to run, play, and explore.

Perfect for: Playful families who love a little variety.

A quiet little gem with tree-lined paths, rustic bridges, and beautiful reflections along the water. It’s peaceful, natural, and one of my favorite hidden spots.

Perfect for: Families who love a cozy, relaxed feel.
