Somewhere along the way, family portraits started feeling stressful. Matching outfits. Perfect behavior. Forced smiles. Pressure to make everything look picture-perfect.
Portrait & Pizza Tuesdays are the complete opposite of that.
This is a playful, personality-filled studio experience designed to feel relaxed, modern, and genuinely fun. We’ll turn up the music, laugh a lot, probably eat pizza between photos, and create colorful portraits that feel full of life instead of stiff posing. Think magazine-inspired color backdrops mixed with real connection, big personality, and the little in-between moments you actually want to remember.
Each session takes place in my studio at Blank Space Community Center and features a rotating wall of seamless paper colors ranging from soft neutrals to bold, playful tones. Whether you’re drawn to the timeless simplicity of white and black, the earthy warmth of almond and olive, or the fun energy of tulip pink and blue jeans, the backdrop becomes part of your session’s personality.
These sessions are intentionally flexible and designed for just about anyone. Families, kids, teens, creatives, business owners, realtors, graduates, couples, best friends, or honestly anyone who has been saying, “We really need updated photos.” This is your sign.
Some people come for a modern family portrait. Some want updated headshots that don’t feel corporate and boring. Some just want fun images that finally feel like them. There’s room for all of it here.
And the pizza? That’s part of the magic too. Because the best photos rarely happen when everyone is trying too hard. They happen in the middle of the laughter, the movement, the chaos, the teasing between siblings, the dramatic pizza bite from a toddler, and the split second where everybody forgets they’re even being photographed.

Portrait & Pizza Tuesdays are a special summer studio series happening Tuesday evenings at Blank Space Community Center. With limited session spots available each week, these playful color-wall sessions are designed to be easy, relaxed, and ridiculously fun for busy families, business owners, and anyone needing updated portraits with personality.
Whether you’re booking for your family, your business, your kids, or simply because you love the idea of colorful modern portraits and pizza on a Tuesday night, this is your chance to do something a little different this summer.
Sessions are held every Tuesday evening from 5:00–7:00 PM and availability is intentionally limited to keep the experience relaxed and personalized.
