I love the colors of fall and this year everything seems to be popping. The gold trees seem exceptional crispy and shiny. I wish fall could be all year round minus the whole day light saving thing, I’m not a fan of the 5 o’clock darkness. I have always taken pictures of trees, I love their shape, bark, coloring and fresh air qualities. I think it’s incredible how they grow outward and upward year by year.

I couldn’t have asked for better weather this weekend, I shot all day Saturday and Sunday and will be busy editing this week. Here is a sneak peek of the Callahan Family, Erin, Tom and little Ryan. The trash talking starts a few weeks in advance and everyone is sure they’ll have the best costume. This year’s annual Halloween party was no exception. We have a serious costume contest which gives you rights to a full year worth of ish talking and a prize basket. Craig and Tom hosted this year and had their place turned into a Halloween wonderland full of tricks and treats. We had a tie for first place this year….winner #1….RICHARD! He stayed in character and those shorts all night, loved him! Tied for first place…wind-blown boy. Very clever home made costume.

Sophia just lights up a room, she is so sweet. Her little smile just melt my heart and her skin is so creamy which makes for great photographs. This past weekend we took Sophia and her cousins to Carousel Gardens and had some fun playing in the pumpkins and riding the train. Sophia is already a fashionista and getting so big so quick. Look at this laugh… Move over Charlie Brown, we got a new great pumpkin!

We were the first ones on and it took a few minutes for the carousal to start but I could see the excitement in Mikey’s eyes and I knew when the carousal started I had to capture his reaction and I’m so glad I did. The look of pure joy and the rush of the carousal, he loved every minute of it. He is such a fun kid and I love listening to him and all the clever little things that come out of his mouth. Some people say Orbs are just fractions of light and some say they are spirits. I like to think they are my guardian angel reminding me she’s there. She always shows up when I need her and I SURE did need her with the hill I was hiking up when I caught this. I love this time of year when the leaves start to change and the weather is just perfect, not too cold and not too hot. Dave and I took a hike…literally It was nice to get some fresh air and see the first signs of fall.
