Cake Pops

I know, I know, Christmas is over but I did this cute dessert for one of my family parties and thought I would share. These cake pops can really be used for any occasion. I came across this idea over at Hostess with the Mostess. I have been reading and drawing inspiration from this blog for years, it really takes party planning to the next level! My cake pops didn’t turn out as pretty as Hostess with the Mostess but I was slightly rushed and they tasted so good it really didn’t matter. Check out her site for the full instructions. Pennswood Christmas Party

My mom has been throwing a Christmas party for her shift at work for as long as I can remember. I have always got to help wrap gifts or make the “candy boxes” but this year I got to par-take in the fun. There were gifts, games and good times. These nurses sure know how to party! Rizzo Family

Yesterday was his birthday , today is his session post! I triple heart the Rizzo family, they are some of the best friends a girl could ask for and they have a super cute kid! They purchased and renovated their home about a year ago so it was the perfect backdrop for family photos. That’s a good looking Mom and Dad but this kid stole the show! Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE GIFT GIVING….just love it. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and gift giving is one of the best things about it. David and I have over 25 friends and family members on our list and we try to come up with something special for each person. We create a spreadsheet and budget in September and slowly over the next 3 months keep our eyes open for good ideas. By the time Black Friday hits the whole spreadsheet is filled out and we’re ready to attack. Every gift gets a ribbon and a bow…no exceptions! I know wrapping is not for everyone but it’s for me, I also love dressing my packages. I am back to my regular posting schedule. I love the holidays, everything about them from gift giving to eggnog…I do it all! Between November and December I shot 9 different shoots all around Bucks County. Photo Fifty Four – Shoppers in the night

You know that one day of the year when retailers open up at 4am with ridiculous deals for the brave souls that are willing to wait in line? Black Friday is my kind of day! Dave and I love to search out the deals, plot our attack, stop for coffee, and seek the thrill of an amazing deal. We’re not so much about standing in long cold lines but we like to drive by and check them out. We ended up at the Oxford Valley mall which opened at 4am. I got some great Black Friday deals and I love when you get a free gift for buying gifts, especially from Vickie’s! This is dedication! It was cold and drizzling, the line wrapped all the way around and the front door is under the Target logo. Cops were on the scene to keep the peace. Not sure what was on sale but
