Every October I try to do something for breast cancer awareness, I have a lot of incredible women in my life and I want us and our daughters to be free of this awful cancer. Breast cancer awareness events have such a great vibe they are always a celebration of life, a promise to keep fighting, remembrance of those we have lost and a time to honor those who have survived this disease. I love that I get to wear a lot of pink cause “Who don’t like pink?”. The best part of any event is when they call together all of the survivors. Look at all of these women who have made it, I think it’s an amazing sign of hope that we will one day beat this disease. Last weekend I was in Pittsburgh for Strides Against Breast Cancer, an event one of my besties organized. The weather was amazing and it was a great walk through the good ol’ burgh. On the way back we took a detour to walk along the river and found some art. Just my girl posing up in Pittsburgh….
