Oh yes I am still recovering from the best St. Patrick’s Day wedding bash ever!  What a great time, our home is definitely set up to handle a serious party, even in sleet! I wish the weather could have been in the 70’s but the snow was no match for this bash. We made the best of it and thanks to my family owning several tarps, we tented as many areas as we could…lol.  We had a heated tent, plenty of alcohol, more desserts than the eye could see, a photo booth, a jamming dance floor surrounded by the world’s best people. It was more than Dave and I could ever dream.  It was truly an amazing show of all of the love that David and I have in our life.  We are abundant!  For all the AMAZING family and friends who helped us pull this bash off – thank you so much….from the bottom of my heart!!

Just like any amazing event it all started with the invitation design.  A St. Patrick’s Day wedding invitation is no short order and I have been dreaming of making mine for some time.  This is actually the second St. Patrick’s Day wedding invitation design that I did.  I was all set on the first round and about to order when something with my first design just didn’t look right.    I slept on it and the next morning started over and created this invitation design.

Awhile back I had seen on Pinterest the idea to make the invitations tie the knot and I thought it was so clever.  Tie the knot invitations are a little bit more work but SO cool!!!  I wanted a vintage travel theme vibe with a clear destination of Ireland.  I used the green strip throughout our Ireland wedding stationary and chose to use it again here.  I also layered in some vintage Ireland stamps and the whole design came together very quickly.

What a bash! And of course I had a photographer – can’t wait to share with you!!

For anyone new here – David and I had an Ireland destination wedding back in September.  We celebrated back home with friends and family on St. Patrick’s Day.  Looking for more details on our Ireland destination wedding, click here.
