This Chief has been with my Grammy for years. I remember when she lived in Altoona it always sat guard by the front door. When Grammy moved in with my parents the Chief sat on the floor in front of her table. Grammy and I would always greet the Chief when we entered the room and then laugh because we were talking to a statue.
Grammy got the Chief from Gordon, my grandfather on one of her birthdays. The morning of her birthday he asked what she wanted and she said she had something in mind…she has told me this story so many times….”so we got in the car and drove up that little mountain and picked him up”.
I lived with roommates for years and when I got my first solo apartment Grammy insisted that I take the Chief for company. 😉 I still greet him from time to time and laugh because I am talking to a statue. It’s the little things in life that bring us joy!

I’m the photographer behind Appletini Photography, a portrait studio based in Yardley, PA, serving families and businesses across Bucks County. For more than a decade, I’ve had the joy of capturing heartfelt images — from newborn photography and family portraits to professional headshots and branding photography. My goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel authentic, joyful, and worth holding onto for generations.
Over the years I’ve photographed thousands of moments for families throughout Yardley, Morrisville, and the surrounding Bucks County community, helping parents preserve the fleeting stages of childhood and the connections that make their family unique. I believe a photograph never grows up — and that the images we create today become tomorrow’s heirlooms.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m wearing one of my many hats: wife, mom, cat mom, aunt, best friend, and enthusiastic coffee drinker. I’m usually planning a themed party, crafting something creative, traveling somewhere new, getting lost in a good book, or laughing until my cheeks hurt.
