It’s that time of year again – graduation!! Gosh I can remember high school graduation like it was yesterday. It was so bittersweet to leave all the people I knew and my daily school routine but I could not wait for senior week, my senior summer and even better my freshman year of college. Being a senior is one of the most carefree times in our life, too young to have real responsibilities but too old to act like a kid. It’s the closing of the first major chapter of our lives and the opening of a whole new book.
If there is one thing I know for sure is that it is critical that we document who we are at this stage. Honestly, my senior pictures are awful! I am wearing a black triangle in one shot {why did they make us wear that fake shirt?}. And a cap, gown and awkward smile in another. I played softball, was a part of 5 choirs, a theater junkie, music lover and really funny and I wish that I had images that celebrate that side of my life.
With my senior sessions it’s about capturing life as it is before the chapter closes and a new one opens. It’s about having fun and being your fabulous self in the moment. We’ll discuss your child’s interest and design an AWESOME photo shoot around it!
