With summer coming to an end on the east coast it’s that weird time of year where I’m sad to see summer go but deep down can’t wait to slip into a sweater and Uggs. I look at my flip-flops each day and know they’ll soon be tucked away along with my bronzer, over sized sunglasses and capri’s. Feels like just yesterday Will Smith and I were jamming out to summertime on the radio and having thoughts of the summer ahead.
While walking today I saw this flower still holding on to the summer. Just seeing this beauty let’s me know I have at least a few more weeks before it’s time to haul the sweaters and ear muffs out. Guess I should stop putting off my much-needed pedicure. 😉

For more than a decade, I’ve had the joy of capturing heartfelt images — from newborn photography and family portraits to professional headshots and branding photography.
