This past weekend gave us the kind of spring day photographers dream about—clear skies, soft light, and the perfect 70-degree breeze. I had the joy of spending it at the beautiful Sayen Gardens with one of my favorite families, capturing memories as they celebrated their youngest turning one!
With four sweet kids in tow, there’s never a dull moment, and this crew brought all the fun. The older siblings were bursting with energy—especially with Easter around the corner—and filled our session with laughter, playful poses, and even a spontaneous game of Duck, Duck, Goose that had us all giggling.
Sayen Gardens was the perfect setting. The winding paths, blooming flowers, and peaceful fountains gave us so many dreamy backdrops. Whether the kids were racing down a trail or pausing to smile together, the entire session felt like spring bottled up in one magical afternoon.
And the birthday boy? He was the sweetest little observer—sitting peacefully, soaking it all in, and letting his siblings steal the show. Sometimes the quietest moments tell the most heartwarming stories, and his gentle presence was a beautiful contrast to the whirlwind of fun around him.
Sessions like this remind me of the magic in every stage of childhood—the wild, the sweet, and everything in between. So grateful to this incredible family for letting me capture another chapter in their story.
