Last month, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a headshot event hosted by two incredible women in the mortgage industry—Robyn Brody and Lisa Obringer of Meridian Bank. Known collectively as The Elite Mortgage Ladies, Robyn and Lisa brought their energy, generosity, and expertise to an unforgettable evening with the agents at Opus Real Estate in Newtown, PA.
The evening was more than just a photo op—it was a thoughtful, strategic gift from Robyn and Lisa to the real estate professionals they support. By covering the cost of real estate headshots for every attending agent, they not only gave back to their community but also created a memorable touchpoint for building genuine business relationships. It’s not every day you see such a perfect blend of generosity and smart marketing.
The event kicked off in a clean, polished indoor setting where each agent got their classic, professional headshot—perfect for business cards, LinkedIn, and all things real estate. The cool-toned blue interior made for a crisp, modern backdrop that really allowed each personality to shine. From there, we stepped outside to a picturesque block in downtown Newtown for environmental portraits. These shots were all about showcasing each agent’s unique energy in a more natural setting—a great complement to the formal indoor portraits.
And because you never know what surprises await at a headshot event, one of the agents turned out to be none other than Santa Claus himself! (Yes, really!) Between sessions, we had a little fun creating a few Santa-themed real estate shots, complete with puns like “Sleigh what you need, and I’ll find the deed” and “This chimney is move-in ready.”
As a photographer, I love capturing professional portraits that feel both polished and personal. Headshots are often the first impression someone gets of you online, and it’s so important that they reflect both your professionalism and your personality.
