Back at the end of October we throw my Pop’s a Bad to the Bone 60th Birthday Bash!   Anyone who knows my Dad knows he is pretty bad to the bone.  Seriously one of the best Dad’s a kid could ask for.   60 is pretty old (haha) so we had to celebrate right!  Since my Dad’s birthday shares the same weekend with Halloween my Mom, Sisters and I were going for a glam spooktacular event…I think we exceeded the mark.

Once again I enlisted Pinterest to help me get the party started.  Check out my Bad to the Bone Birthday Board.

…and if you missed it, 60th Birthday Invitation over here 😉

On with the party…

The Details….

We had a cocktail and appetizer party.  Honestly I was trying to take part in Sherry from Young House Love’s Pinterest challenge but I couldn’t get the images edited fast enough.  I’m sure there will be a next time, but had I posted this is what I would have covered. 😉

ANTIPASTA STICKS…I could eat these everyday they were so delicious.  Pinned the recipe from The Hungry Housewife.  I added a few Trader Joe modifications.

I made these great Hurricane glasses using stockings that I picked up at the Halloween store.  Simple and inexpensive I got about 4 glasses a pair.

Halloween…Trick or Treat…Bad to the Bone Candy Buffet was awesome!  My Mom has the perfect glassware collection for a candy buffet and I love the skeleton she picked up from Homegoods.

Did you see that pumpkin?  Now that I have spray painted pumpkins, I may never go back to anything else! Super easy!

My sister Amy being the Pampered Chef Diva that she is had all kinds of clever appetizers for us!

What’s a Bad to the Bone Birthday without a Bad to the Bone Bar?  Holly’s bar creation topped the charts!  She gets an A++++ for fabulousness!

What would a Miller party be without a cake lady cake?  Another great cake from Amy at Creative Creations by Amy.

We gave my Dad a mini roast, he’s has got some pretty funny stories…

Pop got a new TV….

…and then the Jagermeister started flowing in the kitchen

LOL

Yup…HMIB as in Handsomest Man In Budd Company, a company my Dad worked for years ago and deemed himself HMIB.  😉

I shall title this…busted!  I am not exactly sure what I busted them doing but look at those faces…totally busted…for something

Happy Birthday Pop!
