With David and I being such big foodies, the number one question we got after our trip was…What was the best place you ate? Well…before we hit The World Largest Rocking Chair we stopped at Darwell’s Cafe, by far the coolest cafe I have ever been too! Darwell and Papa D are welcoming, cook the best food in Mississippi and are just awesome people. Darewell’s is full of life, full of character and so much fun. It’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave once your finished eating and actually we loved it so much we went twice. Everything we ordered off the menu was just fantastic and it was so delicious that words can’t describe. I enjoyed it so much they should hire me as their spokes person 😉
Dave is a big fan of Dinners, Dives and Drive-In which featured Darwell’s and caught his attention. It was a part of our trip plans long before we hit the road.
Papa D designs a custom cup for each lady which I loved. Most of the art work at Darwell’s was created by Papa D. Look how serious Dave looks….hahahaha…he is such a foodie.
We came back in the evening and each night they serve up the best food with a side of live music.

I’m the photographer behind Appletini Photography, a portrait studio based in Yardley, PA, serving families and businesses across Bucks County. For more than a decade, I’ve had the joy of capturing heartfelt images — from newborn photography and family portraits to professional headshots and branding photography. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m wearing one of my many hats: wife, mom, cat mom, aunt, best friend, and enthusiastic coffee drinker. I’m usually planning a themed party, crafting something creative, traveling somewhere new, getting lost in a good book, or laughing until my cheeks hurt.

Great pictures of an awesome restaurant. The food was great and so was the atmosphere! Papa D and Darwell are two down to earth dudes that will just chill with you which was very cool. I like the picture of me chowing down I was seriously enjoying the food 🙂
