On Saturday, Tiffany, Melissa and I spent our entire day being AWESOME! Well, we are ALWAYS awesome, but Saturday we were EXTRA AWESOME!!!! We carried out 32 Random Acts of Kindness!!!
Why 32? … Great question!!
This year we all turn thirty-two. We figured rather than receiving gifts this year, we’d GIVE instead. One act of kindness for each year we have been blessed with. The three of us always try to be as kind and as positive as possible and thought it’d be pretty amazing to dedicate an entire day to it. Our birthdays just gave us a reason. 🙂
So we made a plan… spend $32.00 (yes 32, see the pattern?) and spread as much kindness as we possibly could… And that is exactly what we did!!
Before I show you how we spent our day, we wanted to give a special thanks to two generous gentleman who donated toward our cause… Pat Herman, who is always there to support and cheer us on, we love you Pappa Herm! And Chris Godfrey, who overheard what we were doing and kindly wanted to help us make a difference. Thank you both! YOUR random acts inspired us even more than we already were! You ROCK!!
We made little notes to leave behind so anyone who would stumble across our “random acts” would know exactly what it was….

WHAT.A.DAY!!!!
Saturday was so empowering that we made a pact… this is how we will celebrate our birthday’s EVERY year! The day was full of smiles, hugs, gratitude and overall happiness. I’m pretty sure I can speak for Tiff and Melissa when I say, it was one of the best days we have ever had. It was absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
….
Speaking of AMAZING… We weren’t the only ones paying it forward on Saturday. My super awesome Dad and husband spent the day being selfless and giving back too. I figured since this post is all about Acts of Kindness I’d give them a quick shout out! 🙂
They spent the day escorting wounded vets to and from the local American Legion. They served them lunch and celebrated them as the heroes they truly are. What a wonderful thing to do!
A HUGE THANK YOU TO ANYONE WHO HAS EVER SERVED FOR OUR COUNTRY!!!! You deserve unconditional respect!!
Jim and my Dad in all their awesomeness…

Beautiful documentation! This was truly a day to remember! I am so grateful for having you girls in my life, we really are awesome. LOVE US! I am so grateful for the way we have been raised and that our paths crossed 20 years ago!
It was wonderful making people smile and showing them the good that is all around us!
It is so important for ALL to know that every single person in this world can make a difference, whether big or small!
50 ACTS OF KINDNESSS = JAMACIA MON!
Melissa dahling… Couldn’t have said it better myself!
But do we really have to wait for 50? 😉
xx
Thanks Pal! It really was a top down, bug cruising, spreading joy kind of day and spending the entire day with you two ladies was the cherry on top! Love yous!
See that pink envelope going in to the mailbox? That was delivered to my house yesterday. 😉 Made me smile. I love paying it forward. Do it as often as I can!! You ladies did a phenomenal job, and I’m sure you brought happiness to more people then you even realize that day. I’m sure the people who received your kind gestures will pass it on, and those people will pass it on, and those people will pass it on!! And it will be a wonderful circle of smiles and happiness, all because of you three!! Awesome job!
Megan,
Thank you for the kind words! It really was such a special day. Inspiring to say the least! It’s nice to take some time out and extend kindness to others. Even when you expect nothing in return. But ya know what, you do get something in return… gratification. It feels great to make people smile and to see faces light up. I’m glad you were one of them as you deserve it for the wonderful things you do. May our kindness continue to grow and inpire others!
xx <3

What an awesome idea. Really touching and inspiring to see young gals like you guys take the time out to give to others. It’s so easy to get caught up in our busy life and forget to give to those around us we appreciate. Thank you for sharing, love the capture of this days as well. I would love to do something like this as well, you gave me some great ideas. xoJess
Jess,
It really is way too easy getting caught up in life but if felt great to slow down and give back! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
